The range includes the start and the end when they are business days. Saturday and Sunday are out.
How it works
By default only weekends are removed. Turn on US federal holidays to skip New Year, MLK Day, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The page uses the calendar date, not the observed Monday or Friday when a holiday falls on a weekend. Say so in your own rule if your office observes the shifted day. State holidays are not in the list.
Questions
Does the end date count?
Yes, when it is a business day. Monday through the next Monday, with no holiday, is 6 business days because both Mondays are inside the range.
What if the end is before the start?
The tool asks you to swap them. It does not return a negative span.
Are hours included?
No. One business day is a whole civil date.
